Privacy Policy

How K Parts Hub collects, uses and transfers personal data on kpartshub.com. Section 4 covers transfers outside Korea, which are necessary for international shipping.

1 · What we collect

We collect the following, depending on how you use the service.

Sign-up (Google)	Name, email address, profile picture
Consent records	Which items you agreed to, the effective date of the document, the time of consent, and the IP address and browser details kept as proof of that consent
Orders and shipping	Recipient name, phone number, destination country, state/province, city, postal code, street address, order history
Payment	Only the authorisation result and a transaction identifier.

We never collect or store card numbers, CVCs or bank details — PayPal handles payment data directly. We also store no passwords, because sign-in is through Google only.

2 · How we use it

Identifying you and keeping you signed in
Processing orders, procuring parts, international shipping and tracking
Sending transactional notices such as order confirmation and dispatch
Answering enquiries and handling returns and refunds
Preventing abuse and keeping the service stable
Improving the service using aggregate, non-identifying statistics

We do not sell or rent the data we collect for advertising purposes.

3 · How long we keep it

Account data is deleted without delay when you close your account. Records that Korean law requires us to retain are stored separately for the periods below.

If you delete a saved address, the shipping record of an already-dispatched order still contains the address used at the time. This is kept so the destination can be evidenced in a dispute.

4 · Sharing and transfers outside Korea

Because this is an international shipping service, ordering necessarily transfers delivery data outside Korea. Without that transfer we cannot ship to you.

We share data beyond these purposes only with your separate consent or where the law requires it.

5 · Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data at any time. Email support@kpartshub.com and we will act without delay.

5-1 · What happens when you close your account

When you ask us to close your account, it is deactivated and you can no longer sign in. Your data is then handled in two ways.

Order records necessarily contain a name and delivery address — that is what the record is. Korean e-commerce law requires us to keep them. We do not use this data for any purpose other than that statutory one.

Posts you have written in the community are not deleted automatically when you close your account — removing a post that others have replied to would damage their conversation too. Please delete any posts you want removed before closing your account. Posts that remain are re-attributed to an anonymous author. See the content clause in our Terms for detail.

6 · Cookies and advertising

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to preserve your cart. These are necessary for the service to work.
We may serve Google AdSense advertising on parts information pages. Third parties including Google then use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or block cookies in your browser. Blocking them will break some features.

7 · Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to personal data is limited to the minimum number of people, and payment credentials never reach our servers in the first place.

8 · Relationship to our company-wide policy

This policy applies to the kpartshub.com service. Matters common to all our services, such as federated sign-in, are covered by the company privacy policy. Where the two conflict, this policy prevails.

9 · Changes to this policy

We publish changes on the site with their effective date. Material changes that disadvantage users are announced 30 days in advance.
